News Break - Gonzalez Sweeps CPRT Majors
Ruben Gonzalez capped off the 2007-08 CPRT season with victory inthe DPH CPRT Pro Nationals.

Gonzalez battled Jimmy Lowe in a great fivegame final ending Lowe’s run of upsets.  
 
Jimmy Lowe took early leads in both of the first two games of the final and was able to only hold the lead in the first as they split games 7-9 and 9-6.  Gonzalez cruised to a third game win 9-3 and Lowe took the fourth 9-4.  The tiebreaker was a spectacular, back and forth battle as both players left everything on the court.  Lowe ultimately took an 8-7 lead and had several shots with match point before Gonzalez tied the match and reached 9-8 for a match point of his own. After trading sideouts, Gonzalez closed it out 10-8 for the first overtime finals win of the CPRT season and his second win of the year.  The finals was a long match between two amazing athletes showcasing incredible speed, dramatic shot selection, unusual shot selection, and great racquetball. The match was broadcast live on racquetballonline.tv and will be edited and uploaded later this month to the site.

Ruben Gonzalez Racquetball and Prestige Activewear are companies that have been around for more than 10 years. Ruben has been selling his line of clothing and accessories to players and fans throughout his career. Ruben has always been active as a coach and teacher in the sport, from his early days as a club pro in New York.

As most of you know, in addition to selling his products on the web, Ruben is active at many local and national tournaments. You will see him with his tables set up selling his clothing line, signing autographs, answering questions, and just hanging out with the players and spectators.
